These Terms govern your use of ALTAVIN, an independent vehicle research website operated by United Supply Company LLC.

1. Informational use only

ALTAVIN provides vehicle research information for informational purposes only. The service is not a substitute for an independent vehicle inspection, title document review, professional appraisal, legal advice, insurance advice or mechanical inspection.

2. Free VIN decoding

Free VIN decoding may use public VIN decoding sources to identify vehicle specifications encoded in a VIN. A VIN decode is not a complete vehicle history report and does not prove title status, accident history, ownership history, mileage history, theft status or service records.

3. Vehicle history reports

Full vehicle history reports, when available, are supplied through contracted data providers and are subject to provider coverage, availability, restrictions, attribution requirements and terms. ALTAVIN does not guarantee that every event, accident, repair, title brand, auction record, recall, theft record or odometer reading will appear in a report.

4. Independent service

ALTAVIN is an independent vehicle research service and is not a government agency.

5. Payments and refunds

Paid reports are generated only when enabled through a licensed data provider and payment processor. Pricing, refund eligibility and report availability are shown before checkout. ALTAVIN is designed to avoid hidden subscription renewals.
